Welcome to my page. My name is Brandon and I will be blogging about new technology and science articles that I find interesting. A little about myself: I am 26 years old, Married and have 3 beautiful children. I am in school for Computer Science and networking, work full time and I just started my own Computer Business BRITT GEEK.

I think gadgets and technology are crucial in todays society. And I plan on sharing some interesting things. Stay tuned.

Ok, so starting off, the thing I am most excited about this month. Raspberry PI computers are small handheld computers that are only $35. They are due to go on sale next month and include everything you will need for a computer (except a case). The computers are meant to spark interest in children and adults who wish to learn and construct there own computers and gadgets.

I personally will be using the device as a streaming player for Netflix, Music and home movies. Below is a link and picture of the computer. It comes with an HDMI port to hook to a big screen, an ethernet port to connect to the internet and 2 USB ports to connect keyboards and what-not.

Also in news, T-mobile will be the first provider to offer small business and retail stores with the square credit card slider. It will allow you to connect a Credit Card reader to your phone, and swipe credit cards as a way for purchases. I can only imagine what will be happening next.

And for some statistic lessons, did you know:
-91 per cent of Americans aged 28 to 35 use their mobile devices on the toilet.

-a quarter of Americans say they won't go to the toilet without their phone
63 per cent have answered calls, 41 per cent have called someone else, and 16 percent in the 28-to-35 group have made purchases there.

-And the last stat that got me was : an amazing 20 per cent of males have joined conference calls from the toilet, compared to 13 per cent of women.

So next time you get a call, you can safely guess it is probably from the toilet.
